"Mojo Jojo," an AutoGenPrep robot, in action
MGEL's AutoGenPrep 960 robot is nicknamed "Mojo Jojo."

DNA SEQUENCES

MGEL generates DNA sequences as part of its research.  These sequences are usually produced as part of federally-funded research and are consequently made available to the public per the guidelines of the sponsor.  In most instances, raw sequence data is available within 24 hours after reads are produced.

Pine

All pine genomic sequences generated as part of NSF DBI-0421717 have been deposited in GenBank (see APG Sequences for more details).

Sorghum

MGEL is involved in sequencing the genome of Sorghum bicolor and provided all sorghum DNA used in the DOE/JGI sequencing effort.  All sequence data generated through this project is available from the Joint Genome Institute and/or GenBank.
