Daniel G. Peterson (Dan) was born and raised in Durango, Colorado.  His parents, Noel and Virginia, still reside in the Durango area.  Dan has two older sisters (Kristin and Karen) and an identical twin brother (Dale).

Dan, wife Lynn, son Grant, and daughter Lindy reside in Starkville, MS.  Dan's primary hobby is music (see below).  He plays guitar (electric and acoustic), mandolin, and drums.
