The APG project has afforded educational opportunities at numerous levels. Beneficiaries include graduate students, undergraduates (student workers & summer interns), postdoctoral associates, research associates, and visiting scientists/faculty. Additionally, APG Principal Investigator, Daniel Peterson, has used data and tools generated in APG research to help educate students in his graduate courses Genome and Genomics and Topics in Genomics.
