Loblolly pine "7-56" BAC library, clones, and macroarrays: The BAC library, individual BAC clones, and macroarrays generated in this project will be available from the Clemson University Genomics Institute (CUGI).  These items can be ordered through the CUGI website.  It is anticipated that the first 691,200 BAC clones (3X genome coverage) of the 7-56 BAC library (i.e., PT_7Ba) will be available for purchase from CUGI in June 2006.  BAC clones will be spotted onto 30 x 30 cm nylon filters at a density of 27,648 double-spotted clones per filter.  The first 3X portion of the BAC library will fit onto 25 macroarrays (691,200 clones ÷ 27,648 clones per array = 25).

Cot-filtered "7-56" DNA clones: Clones generated using Cot filtration techniques will also be made available through CUGI.
